An NFC tag with vCard info for a lost child is basically a digital “contact card” attached to their backpack. Here’s how it works:

The Setup:

When a child is lost:

3. The phone reads the tag and instantly displays the parent’s contact info

4. They can call or text immediately—no app needed, no scanning a QR code, no typing anything in

Why it’s better than just a phone number written on a backpack:

• No fading/damage from weather

• Instant digital format—feels more official/urgent to a finder

• Can include multiple contact options

• Works even if the child can’t communicate their phone number
